DAVID ENS

PASTOR/ELDER

Born and raised on the family farm near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, David sensed God's calling to pastoral ministry in his late teens soon after he was graciously saved by the Lord Jesus.

Soon after his conversion, he began working on his undergraduate studies (BTh) at Briercrest Bible College. After graduating, God's calling led David from youth ministry in Whitecourt, Alberta to Desbarats, Ontario in 2001 to pastor Calvary Baptist Church. David was ordained to the ministry in April of 2005 by the Algoma Association within FEB Central. Then, in 2008, David pursued a graduate degree (MDiv) at Toronto Baptist Seminary and after graduating in 2010, David became the pastor of Grimsby Bible Church. In God's providence, He opened the door for David to become the pastor at Park Royal Bible Church in the fall of 2015.

David and his lovely wife Emily have 5 children: Micah, Joshua, Nathanael, Andrew and Layla. David loves to spend time with is family, read and golf.

Wayne Beckles

elder

Wayne Beckles was born in Barbados and migrated to Canada in 1985. He was born in a Christian family and was graciously saved and baptized at the age of 14. He came to Park Royal Bible Church (PRBC) at the invitation of his then girlfriend and current wife Marie in 1999.  They were later married in 2001 at PRBC and continue to enjoy good Christian fellowship there.

Wayne loves expository preaching and the relationship he has fostered over the years has provided many opportunities to serve. Wayne credits his mom for her spiritual direction, resilience and influence on his life and loves the words of Phil 2:14-16.

Wayne has faithfully served as shepherd and care-giver for several years and was ordained as an elder in 2017. He sees a lot of himself in the Apostle Peter, both of humble beginnings, Acts 4:13.

His goal is to continue growing and shepherding the Lord's people at PRBC.
